Soooo! The Mens World Cup is starting on Friday! I think Norway is going to be kickass this year. Too bad Lauritzen is ill. But he'll get better soon.

i've never heard of it

It always seems that all goalkeepers suck at handball, but I think that's because they only show the goals of a game, haha.

Some of them suck yeah, but remember that the shots comes much faster and more unexpected than in football..

And how is it possible not to have heard about handball?! I thought everyone knew about it, it's like the sister of football!

well i live in England and i've never heard of it, never seen anyone play it. what do you do?

edit: ok so i looked it up and it sounds pretty much exactly like basketball except there's a football goal instead of a basketball net

Um, yeah, maybe. But the goals are much smaller, and you get pretty beaten up if you play it right. If you put some effort into it, I mean.

I played Handball for about a year or 2... It's a nice sport

oh god, only reason young girls care about norwegian man handball is because of Kristian Kjelling (no offense Trine i dont mean you).

I'm not trying to defend myself, but I don't really think Kjelling is so handsome. He looks like a mix between a monkey and Victoria Beckam.

I don't like handball. We had to play it in PE a million times in 8th grade. This girl in my class is superduper good. I think she's on the junior national team.

We're doing it in PE at teh moment. It's so gay how you have to bounce it. Too much like basketball

It's not that much like it. It's just a combo of soccer and basketball. You don't HAVE to bounce it.

I don't see how it's like football at all. And we have to bounce after like every 10 steps. If you don't have to bounce then you could just hold the ball and run to the other end and score.

I played intense handball in gym today. Length of the gym, my class only. I didn't score goals, but I lead the team to virtually every single one. I'm ace at intercepting passes, but I suck at getting the ball off the ground, so usually someone on my team who is good at that hangs around me and I kick it to them.

Well, you have to pick it up with your feet from the floor, so good soccer players can pop it up and catch it, so I kick it to them so they can do that.

You're not allowded to let the ball touch you anywhere below your upper thigh.. Sorry, I'm still confused..
