Anyone watch / play volleyball ?

yah totally i'm gonna play at the y in less than a month then this summer i'm gonna go 2 a volleyball camp then next year in 7th grade i can try out 4 the team! yah me!! (school team)

I played in junior high. I was pretty decent at it, but apparently it helps to be tall, which I am not.

I don't like it; there's too many rules.

i've been playing volleyball for two years and i totally love it! last year i was in our local team and we won the cup but our fucking school kept it!!

I love volleyball! I'm already signed up. last year I was on a smaller team in a team of 12 or so. this year I'm doing it at my school and there's about 50 girls. there's a boys team too. The guy is pretty cool and he's not embarrassed about it. I actually helped him with some of it. Although I did hear some of the prissy girls are doing it this year. haha, in gym class when the girl broke her pinky nail she almost did cry. she tried getting out of the next gym class for it. I can't imagine her playing volleyball. I can overhand serve pretty well, I'm usually middle or outside hitter. I can play setter too, but the coaches like me to spike it or be the hitter because of the power of my hits and serves. can't wait for the season to start!

i signed up for our school team this yea, there are a few girls but most of them are boys so our team is now some mixture. I love serving

I was going to try out, but I missed the tryouts because of a family vacation. Even if I made the team now, the coach wouldn't let me play for some stupid reason. oh well. but I love playing!

I used to love volleyball
I quit after I didn't make the 9th grade team
I was so mad. I could go on and on lol
but basically, I worked my ass off to improve my skills
my work actually paid off and I did great at tryouts
but they didnt pick me because I missed the ball ONCE

oh and after that I decided to go to a volleyball camp
it was the biggest hassle ever. They totally fucked us for money and it was a disaster
took the refund and never went back

I love volleyball. I'm actually kind of good at it,
And almost tried out for the team.
Then I saw how good they were and decided that I'm better off without it.
Besides, I never hit the ball exactly they wanted me to hit it.
Which was a problem.

I played it when I went to Ibiza, but it wasn't all it turned out to be. But then we did it in school and I loved it! I was alright at it too, our team won But it hurts my arms because they're so pale and flabby haha

I love it! I wasn't able to join the freshman team this year because of a hand injury that is just now healing after I broke it last year. But I'm definately going to try out for the JV team next year.

Ahhh I hate volleyball. I suck so bad. Dread it every year in PE. And they try to make it fair, so you always get put with people you're not friends with. And they're always like good try! that's the spirit! or tell you to try harder. it depends on the people. and i just suck. Bad. 'Cept one time when we were losing by like 11 points, and out of no where I served 11 straight points. I think that's the only time I've ever done anything good, usually I hit it to like the other side of the gym heh.
It's loads of fun though when you're playing with your friends, wish we could choose teams in gym.

I wish they made it into a guy's sport also. I know there are other guys at my school who are interested in it but are too afraid they will be taunted.


I'm on the varsity team and it's great! I love playing v-ball.

We're starting up a girls volleybal team in my town now! Starting monday. yay

Oooh volleyball is my love I played in a school team, I was a setter. My team also took part in regional championships and I was choosen the best setter of the tournament.
Now I only watch men's volleyball games. Representation of Poland won the silver medal during the world championships in Japan last year. We lost only one game - the final against Brazil. I'm so proud of them

i barely got to play last year and i used to be on the junior olympics.... thats how bad its gotten. i'm gonna try to play again this year...and if i dont like the first month.. i'll probably quit...even though i'm a senior

i dont play cuz im a man, but one chick that plays it, i think shes a junior, is fucking hot. dont know if shes any good though.

I've been playing volleyball for about 5 years now, and I am on my high school team. I play outside hitter. Playing volleyball in PE class just plain sucks though.

Well, i play it at school just in the gymnastic classes! And i don't like it at all and i really suck!
but i like to watch who knows how to play!

I passionately hate volleyball. I mean it's okay to play it with friends on a beach but at school it sucks. And I have to play it twice a week in PE.
