"ok, we're doing 2 400's for time, girls you have 72 seconds, guys you have 65- go.... oh wait, you guys finished the 2nd one in 74 seconds. go get the guys and tell them we have 2 more thanks to you. "
"coach i think i'm gonna throw up"

I used to train track and field, stopped a few months ago though. it was fun, only thing I hated my coach and my "training buddies" so much I couldn't take it anymore. but I'm over it, I would never have been anything anyway. but it's so much more fun than team sports (being an individual as I am I just can't work good in groups and I suck at teamwork so yeah)

I did long jump at the meet in grade 5!
...and sucked, but point is, I was one of the best.
In middle school I was pretty good at high jump, and in those three years my time for the 1500m run improved so much.
I prefer such track events to some sport like basketball or soccer..

I'm on my schools' track team. We don't call it Track and Field, though. We call it Track n' Friel - after our hard core coach. I don't like track the most, but I do it for cross country running training.

I'm not a big fan of athletics, actually, not a fan of sport in general, but I got to districts for 100m sprint. And also long jump.
I lost to the other schools, epicly.
