No, equestrian stuff are sports. >_> Heh, my dad is big on horse racing, so I am as well. My mum's boyfriend doesn't like me that much because I can pick a winner better than him.

So sad.
I truly think he wanted to live and everything possible was done.
Bless his heart.

One of my things I would like to do someday is to have a retirement ranch where race horses can come to live and goof off.

Oh, and btw, for how long have you been riding horses?
Linnea
Dec 2 2007, 04:35 AM
He's born in 1998-imported from Flower Hill on Ireland. He came to haparanda in 2004.
I've been riding horses since i was six, and now i'm 16... soon 17. I go to a school called "Holmen" wich is a equestrian school. I've just started it, but I'll might change to music instead.
I'll write more about him later

Off to the stable now!

Yesterday my sister fell of a horse and broke her arm. Haha and I always try to tell people that horse riding isn't really a dangerous sport.

I've been riding for 7 years now, and yes, horse riding is a sport! And by the way it's much harder than it looks. One of the main things in horse ridning (especially in dressage) is to make it look like the horse is doing the things it self, and the rider is just sitting there. When people walk up to me saying: ''Horse riding is not hard! It's the horse that's running around doing all the work!'' I usually reply them with: ''So, it's not hard to ride a bike up hill either?? It's the bike that's doing all the work?'' Also in dressage it's not JUST about making a horse running around. We want to make them do special things, in special ways, and often that takes a lot of hard work. And when a horse is moving it's actually hard to sit correct on it. We are not aloud to just sit there, we have to sit ina certan way to get good points.
Also, if horse riding is not a sport, why is it among the Olympic Games?
Hope I cleared somethings up for some people.
