Pool is the ONLY sport I like. I have a full sized pool table in my basement and I play for hours everyday.

Has anyone here ever played "Cut Throat" ?

It's a three-people game. Each person has 5 balls. One person is 1-5, one person is 6-10 and the other person is 11-15. The object of the game is to knock out your opponants balls. The winner is decided by who's the last person to have their balls on the table (You don't need all of your balls on the table.) When one persons balls are all gone, they're out. However, you're not neccasarily out of the game for good. If someone scratches, the other two people pulls on of their balls out. So, if you're out of the game, and someone scratches, then you (And the other person. NOT the person who scratched) gets to pull a ball out.

The rules are simple. There are no rules. When you scratch, it's ball-in-hand. Shit-shots count (Shots that you didn't call), meaning you don't have to call your shots. You can knock in your own ball.

snooker bores the crap outta me, but when trick shot snooker is on, i cannot pull myself away from the tv.

one trick involved hit a ten pence coin whilst it sitting on the cushion, as it went down the table it would keep bouncing off of the cushion till it reached the black on the edge of the pocket, potting it.

Pool is awesome! I have a table in my basement(which we just recently finished) along with a projector, so I'll play pool and watch movies all day on weekends. Watching it is hell though. My dad makes me sometimes.

I used to love snooker, but since Paul Hunter died I can't bring myself to care about it anymore.

I like playing pool, espicially against my sister because she's like the only person I can beat.

I like Matthew Stevens too. And Ronnie O'Sullivan is interesting to watch. His autobiography is pretty good.

But I really can't watch it anymore. I should try, because I used to love it.

Maybe this sounds a bit pathetic, but Paul Hunter's death hit me pretty hard.

I used to love watching snooker/ pool when I was younger - probably because of the bright coloured balls - I never fully understood how the game works.

I play pool sometimes though, it can be quite fun actually.

I love snooker. But I may say that after 5 hours watching them watching the table it starts to get boring.
Ronnie O'Sullivan is the best.

Yeah I´ve still all these amaizing matches he played in my mind. And it makes me really sad if I see a picture of his little daughter Evie who will never really know her daddy. Life is really ot fair.

Snooker and Pool are really considered as sports and there are also World Championships. Snooker and Pool are very famous in Britain so most of the players are British. Personaly I prefer Snooker.

I loove snooker!!! ..and I play it really well , I have one at our beach's house and I spent nights there with friends and lots of beers hahah...its pretty usual to have them here around in bars

i believe myself to be fairly good at it though i still have a lot of work to do on my english and spins as well as placements for second shots.

I have never heard the word snooker used to describe billiards/pool.

just learned how to play snooker today. it is fairly different than pool, having a much larger table and smaller balls and pockets as well as a different set of rules making the game more complex than pool. it requires a lot more skill than pool does. hope to play it again soon
