And quite comfortabely, if I may say so.

Anyway, I know the Dutch league isn't the best in the world, but there are some quite good teams in it. I think the top 7 could do reasonable in the Premiership.

Great free kick by Xavi, though.

I feel so alone in America. football is the only "ball" sport i like to watch (yes and i mean real football, not what americans call it) and it's really not very popular here.
my town, however, is another story. it's a mostly mexican population so of course it's huge in my little town..... i hope you know what i mean. lol!
this reminds me i just watched Bend it Like Beckham today. haha

barca suck

my favorite 'world' football teams are Schalke 04 from germany, who are actually joint top at the moment. I saw them play when i was over there a few years ago, got a shirt and have kept a soft spot for them.
Also, Torreveija FC, a non-league spanish team that i saw when i was over in spain last year. Again, i have there shirt and have seen them play so i adopted them as my spanish team. They would rape barca if they played them

Its alright to semi-support teams from other countries

Schalke is a good team. I've been to their stadium once, fantastic stadium. Too bad it wasn't at a Schalke match, because they have some great supporters. Would love to go to Schalke-Dortmund once, which is one of the biggest derbies of Europe.
Hopefully, the championship will go between them and Werder, because Bayern winning every year is getting a bit boring.

yeah, i really think they could do it this season.
Funnily enough, it was against Dortmund i saw them, i was staying in germany with a schalke mad family on an exchange and they took me, it was awesome, we won either 2-1 or 3-1 (it was quite a few years ago!) when noone excepted it and we sung all the way home. it was awesome.
Its just weird wearing a blue shirt, i have to be careful of people think its bloody chelsea

Luque interested in PSV loan deal
Newcastle forward Albert Luque is keen on a move to Dutch club PSV Eindhoven, according to his agent.
The former Deportivo La Coruna player, 28, has struggled since joining the Magpies for £9.5m in 2005, and wants a move to resurrect his career.
His agent Francis Martin told De Telegraaf newspaper the Dutch champions have opened negotiations over a loan.
He said: "PSV are presently the most interesting option. He would like to play at the highest level again."
Luque has struggled to make even the bench this season at Newcastle despite a return to full fitness and the Magpies having major injury problems.
I think he would really strengthen our team. Further, we've loaned Alcides today from Chelsea, who bought him from Benfica this winter. Unfortunately, he cannot play in the Champions League for PSV, because he already played for Benfica in the same competition. So no Alcides against Arsenal, but hopefully Luque.

So, David Beckham's gonna earn £500k a week playing in the MLS for LA Galaxy from August.
That works out at about £130 million until the contract runs out.

I actually only see Norwegian teams play, when they play European football. For example, this year I watched IK Start against Ajax. Teams like Rosenborg and Brann Bergen are pretty well-known outside Norway anyway, I reckon.
By the way I read TA Flo, left Vċlerenga for Leed United. So my hero returns to England!

I don't think Beckham's a good player. He's always put fame over football. You see people like Scholes and Giggs playing some of the best football of their life, and then Beckham not even playing for Real, and you wonder why he's gonna be earning way more than them.

Because he don't earns this much because he's a good player, but because he's a 'star'. They just pay that much for his name.
Oh, and it seems the Luque-deal to PSV is off. A shame, but if you aren't a regular at Newcastle, he shouldn't be that good, anymore.
