are you talking about me as 'he'?
^^
I have no idea what expert elven is, is that some stupid PC game? fantasy football is where at the beginning of the season you have X amount of money to make a team from any players (normally prem, depending on what league you wish to play) and you can make some transfers and shit but the points are calculated on how well your team do as individuals, then its all counted together.
Its not a game, its about football knowledge and working out the best team and stuff.its technical.
Sounds cool adeline, we should do that next season. the daily mail do quite a good one, i suppose we all need to go with the same site so the points are worked out the same.

I still think there is need for a snowboard thread. Snowboarding is so different from all the winter/ski sports. Surely there must be another person here who breathes for snowboarding just like me, and I need to find that person. And the only way I can do that is through my very own snowboard thread.
Yeah. I'm going to bed now.

Alright, I've made threads for Boxing and Lacrosse.
I think a thread maybe to cover all non premiership league English football would have more going for it than just division one.
Non Premiership thread

Are you going to close most of the football threads soon for the out of season time?
If so, could we have like a football news thread or something? If not... just ignore me. lol

Different threads for different football teams. For example an Arsenal thread.
Amanda
May 26 2007, 09:03 AM
If we had threads for individual teams it could become endless though, with a bunch of threads that are just requested for the sake of it and opposing fans going from thread to thread trolling each other.
Thats' why it works to keep it in leagues etc so far.
I mean we could have a thread for say, Arsenal, Man Utd and Liverpool but then some plonker's gonna say "What about Sheffield Wednesday?" or something equally lame. And on it goes.
With Premiership, World, Non-Prem etc at least it has a little more room for conversation other than " So and so rules ... so and so is wank ".

Are you going to keep World Football open?
Amanda
May 26 2007, 09:07 AM
Yep, I just noticed Jonas has closed the Prem and F.A threads so I was thinking keep the World one open and the Non- Prem plus I'll make the update thread I mentioned for just day to day stuff you might want to talk about till the new season begins.
Warning__
May 26 2007, 09:15 AM
Why, though? We can just use the World Football thread.
That pretty much covers everything.
Euro Qualifiers, Asian Cup, Asian Champions League etc.
Amanda
May 26 2007, 09:17 AM
Well I was thinking for anything going on in the news or whatever but if you think it's a waste of time I'll leave it, and maybe if it's needed later you guys can let me know.

I think it's reasonable to expect conversation between fans of teams (like the other bands thing). Restrict it to the top. They'll just have to make do if their team doesn't get a thread.
It's not a courtroom. One decision doesn't have to set a precedent.

Add a thin and crispy veg special and garlic bread with cheese and maybe we could begin negotiations.
But while you're right about the not setting a precedent just by having a few and restricting it to the top I'm not sure if its got any mileage.
We could give it some thought around the new season I suppose.
