Anyone here watch any winter sport?

just saw ski jumping from Bischofshofen. they just finished the ski jump week in Germany and Austria, and Anders Jacobsen, Norway, won.
anyone else who saw this?

I think all kinds of wintersport is boring except for curling. That's pure genius. So I guess you can understand why I say No, I did not see that.

I liked watching the Winter Olympics. Snowboarding rules.

I watched the Winter Olympics, and I love watching snowboarding, hockey, figure skating and skiing.

I was just watching the skiing on TV from Switzerland.

Tour de ski? or what they call it.

ice hockey and sometimes ski jumping. and snowboarding.

I really like ski jumping. I used to be a huge fan. The austria and the norway team is pretty successful.
Sven Hannawald was the first person to win all four competitions (Oberdorf, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Innbruck and Bischofshofen). That was amazing.

the norwegian team used to be succesful. poland amazed me today, didn't know they had other than Adam Malyzs. and austria are always good, 11 jumpers in the finale?

I dont. but then again i dont really care to watch any sport

sometimes i'll watch hockey on TV but usually i just go to hockey games.

Yessss. I watch a lot of winter sports. The only one that's really interesting is snowboarding.

Yes, we used to be. And we still are in some type of skiing. But in the alpine genre, I must say, it's a little embarrassing to just have one good man in the top! Aksel Lund Svindal is in every genre. I think he leads the world cup right now.

But, to answer your question, yes I see almost every ind of winter sports ;) I was an active slalom racer before I had an injury in my leg.... :S

I like to watch the skiing and snowboarding, but we don't have Sky so I can only watch it when big competitions are on and stuff.

I saw it!! GO NORWAY!! I watch a lot of wintersports, and espasiallly the winter olympics I prefer ski shooting

big norwegian day so far, Ole Einar Bjørndalen won the biathlon race, Halvard Hanevold and Emil Hegle Svendsen on second and third place

lets hope our ski jumpers can do the same in Vikersund today.

i love winter sports... snowboarding's really fun, but i'm kinda bad at it, skiing's fun too, but i'm actually good at that

i wish the winter olympics would come back here, i was like 11 in 2002, so i didn't really get how cool it was

I used to watch skiing when Janica Kostelić was reprisent Croatia.

I'm going Snowboarding in like 2 weeks! I can't wait, it's going to be beastly. Dad said the snow looks good too. Yaaay

I am also going snowboarding in two weeks. A whole week in beautiful Sweden dedicated to snowboarding, snowboarding, snowboarding, buying cheap candy, snowboarding and snowboarding.

i was snowboarding today . the first time of my life : D
it was fun. though i sucked but i don't care.

There hasn't been enough snow for me to go boarding for about three weeks now. I am going NUTS. Next winter I'm buying a freezer and load it with snow that I can use when everything outside has melted.

I love ski jumping! It's the coolest thing in the world! This week it's a competition in the worlds biggest hill..it's gonna be awesome! The norwegian ski jumpers are really good, so it's fun to watch

Anyone else as excited as me for the winter season? Can't fucking wait to get out my board and shred down the mountain again. I really hope this year we'll get lots of snow. Last year was pretty shit. I took up skateboarding this spring, and I really think that's gonna improve my snowboarding. My goal for this season is to properly land a 360.

I think I'm gonna get a new freestyle board. I've got a great freeride board, but my freestyle is a piece of shit. Which sucks as it is freestyle riding I do most.

I want snoooooow!

I'm not that into winter sport, but my sister likes ski jumping a lot.
So if she's going to Finland to watch ski jumping again, I'm going with her.

On my way to school today, it hailed. And that's like almost snow. So yay.

So stoked for ski season starting here! November 22nd is the opening day for the mountains here. I ordered my new skis online today.

I know! I think it's kind of boring.
But I don't mind travelling with my sister. She makes me go around with a German flag though, it's kind of anoing.

November already? Lucky. They're probably not going to open here until late December/January.

i can't wait for it to be ski/ snowboard season again! i haven't gone boarding since easter last year
i love snowboarding. only gone 5 times, but it's been really easy to pick up

Yeah haha. Whistlr is where its at. Opening day is HUGE and there is always waist deep powder, but it gets skied out in the first hour unless you know the secret spots. The line up for the first lift is like two hours long, so we always wait in line starting at 4:00 AM and get first chair at 8:00 and have a blast.

Might buy my snowboard this weekend.

ahhh, i cant wait until it snows! i finally bought i a sweet new snowboard and boots and may plan a mini ski trip with a few friends (i'll try to somehow go when there's a concert i want to see somewhere n sneak that in hahaha).

but i got my license, so i'll be able to drive up to the mountains every weekend if i want. it's just expensive
