I hate history, and every form of it. The only reason why it's taught in schools is because we aren't supposed to let history repeat itself. Bullshit -- Hitler was a modern day Napoleon, and the leader of Korea is like a modern day Hitler. Abe Lincoln was assissnated, and so was John F. Kennedy. No offense, we already are repeating history.

I believe there's probably some truth to most everything they tell us. Maybe even 90% of it could be true. I don't think the faults are all because of people lying to try to hide things or anything, though, but just because of how artifacts can be misinterrpreted and things like that.
I've always thought it would be interesting to see how would civilizan would be describe to students centuries from now.

Okay, I believe most of history, minus the religious stuff, mostly because hundreds of years ago, all these guys decided to pick and choose what people would believe in and then changed stuff (they also mention this in the Da Vinci Code, remember how they made Jesus into a supernatural being, and cut out Mary Magdalen's stuff? But, just for the record, I learned this stuff in History class.... not just from a "fictitious" book).

Sorry to quote a musical- but this sums it up
"...we believe all sorts of
things that aren't true. We call it - "history."
A man's called a traitor - or liberator
A rich man's a thief - or philanthropist
Is one a crusader - or ruthless invader?
It's all in which label
Is able to persist"
You can never truly know what happened unless you were there.
