I've been baptised but i don't go to church or pray or really believe in what catholics think is right.
And I don't believe in God. But if I've been baptised does that make me catholic no matter what?

well my family is baptist , but i'm not. i believe that jesus christ existed, but i think people take the bible literally at times when it is in metaphors. i study kabbalah, and that's about as religious as the laws of gravity. I'm spiritual, but not religious. i don't really like the idea of having a label and religion is one of the nastiest labels in society. there have been more wars and bloodshed in the name of religion than anything. religion breeds fragmentation. okay sorry to ramble on like that.

im christian and i guess its ok but it gets kind of annoying being forced to go to church sometimes.

Born Methodist, but I don't like it. I mean I agree with most of it. But, I like picking things out of all religions that I agree with. I don't like feeling categorized. So what I believe is what I believe. My friends think I'm weird to do that, but whatever.

catholicism! yay! and i can spell it! that means i believe that jesus is the piece of bread i eat, and the wine i drink, and its not just a ritual. it also means, no sex before marriage, no masturbation, and church every sunday! and thats the "boring church", not the "fun sing-along stuff".

but i absolutely love my religon, and wouldnt change it . and heaps of people say "OMG! how the hell can you like green day if you are so catholic" and the answer is i dont know! i dont feel wrong doing it, and as long as i know what i'm doing is right, im not going against anything. im not even offended by titles like jesus of suburbia, or saint jimmy, cause i now they're symbols, or to me they're symbols. and things like "jesus is a pothead" or "jesus is f'ing metal" i just ignore it, because if people go around wearing them, and they are happy with themselves, and happy with what they are wearing, they are doing nothing wrong either but my problem is i swear a lot, which i should stop

Jewish. By education and cultural background...not so much religious belief these days. But then again, I am in that teenage denying religion stage.

Agnostic isn't technically a religion, because it means that you're unsure of the existence of God, or you profess that it is impossible to know whether there is a God. I'm pretty sure there are agnostic organizations where people meet, but I still wouldn't consider that a religion. It's more like a philosophy.

I'm pretty strongly against religion. I think it has done terrible harm to humanity over the centuries and is still doing it now. It fosters intolerance, suspicion, and division, sometimes to the extent that people are killed and wars started for it.

I don't believe there is a god. I don't even have any doubt. I think it's all fairy tales invented by humans and used by those in power as a way of controlling and gaining power over entire societies.

I went to Mormon church a couple of times when i was little (i was even in their christmas play for some reason ) but im definately not mormon.

I like to think of my religion as a work in progress

what she said. i was born catholic, went to catholic schools, 18 years of catholic nuns and a psycho catholic mother will do that to you. strangely enough though, one of my best friends is a catholic nun. she knows when to keep her mouth shut though.

I've never had a religion. I guess I would be Agnostic. I think there's some sort of force out there but defenitely not a god. My parents never pushed religion on me. We never went to church either. I went to Awanas with my friend once and I told the people I'd never gone to church. Big mistake. The whole time they made me memorize bible verses while all the other kids got to play games. I never went back.

Religion has some good aspects. It can give people something to believe in, something to live for. It can help make people nicer, kinder, more giving and charitable. It can prevent people from being foolish, and support them when times get hard. The only time I think religion is stupid is when people refuse to hear anything against it and are willing to kill for it. Or when religions fight about who's better. The idea of religion isn't bad, its just what people will do in the name of religion.

I agree with both of you, kind of. I don't have anything against religion. It can help people in some cases. The way I see it is it either gives them something to believe in or something to be against. But I also believe that it's all stories that were made up to answer the questions on one actually had the answers to. But hey, if stories help people live their lives then good for them.

Agnostic....i was raised a catholic but due to recent events and my individual beliefs i dont believe in god and jesus and all that stuff. i cant believe in someone that says he is our 'father' and loves us and can control our happenings and then lets the things taht hapen happen, leting ppl suffer pain through cancer and deseases, deaths, and then making ppls lives better then others . he doesnt give to the ppl who deserve good things. i believe that if u look back and closly enough u can find real reasons for reasonable things. ne way u may not understand but it is really hard to type up my whole belief sstem in a matter of minutes of u wanna talk pm me.

I grew up Mormon, but was never really into it. Then I found out it was all made up. That's right. The Book of Mormon was plagiarized from several popular books of the time. And all their temple rituals were actually copied from Mason rituals.

Anyway, now I have no religion. I think organized religion is a money-making scheme.
