Depends who you are, and what perspective you look at it from. Personally I think it will, mainly because teenage years are the hardest, but then again when I'm an adult and move out I'll have to fend for myself, so who knows? See what the future brings <3

Yeh it does get tougher more responsibilities etc but as long as you keep an open mind and have a passion for something and remember to enjoy what you have it'll turn out ok in the end. thats what i'm hoping for anyway.

Aug 6 2006, 04:06 AM
Good question, as far as becoming an adult it gets tougher because you have more responsibilities and less fun. There are so many more things to worry about, the older you get. It probably depends a lot on the person and his or her experience. For me, some parts of my life have gotten better and some have gotten worse even though I am not an adult yet.. If you had a lousy childhood it can only get better.

Just enjoy your youth while you can. Eighteen is still young, but once you get to that age, you must acknowledge that you're no longer a kid anymore, and that you have or will have more responsibilites and stuff to worry about. Just take it easy; live one day at a time.

When you're older you've got way more responsebillities. People expect more from you because you're old and wise enough. As a kid you still can get away with some stuff and your life is free-er.
But then again, every age category had their own problems you need to cope with. It's not really a thing you can compare. It are just different stages in your life and you must decide yourself how you handle it and what you want to make from it.
What you did when you were a teenager affects your life as an adult too. So there is a connection.

Hard to say. When your a teenager you have all the exams and school work. It's really difficult. But then when your an adult you have to move out, pay the bills, look after yourself, get a job...
So its just as hard either way. I would prefer to stay a teenageer though, less grey hair and wrinkles

When you're a really little kid, you never think about shit like this - you just go effortlessy and gracefully from one stage to the next, acquiring the skills to move forward with your life. Then when you get a consciousness of time, it starts this whole series of parameters you make for yourself - how long have I got, what should I be doing at this age, I have to start taking things seriously - bollocks!
Your life is your life, and you're the only one who should put a shape on that - and it should be this big, loose shape that can change when you get a new idea or find something or someone you love, both , preferably!
I think what makes people change when they get older is rigidity, and feeling like they have to fit all of these definitions - you can free yourself of that by just changing your mindset.
I mean, in all honesty, wouldn't it be really boring to stay at one stage of your life forever, even if it's this carefree time where you have no responsibilities? Think of what Billie Joe said about core feelings - they don't change, who you are doesn't change - just that you start to deny certain parts of yourself because you think they're no longer appropriate to where you are.
Take the little kid with you - and take it to a place of empowerment, because life is gonna go forward anyway; dive in and make yours special and different, tailor-made for you. Don't let other people's grey minds block out the sun for you - live your life with the grace you were born with.

, I can say that, in fact, things don't change too much....I mean, I feel like im the same person, with more experience, more things to do, my work...well, a lot of things happened and I learned a lot and i like who Iam....well, each person have one diferent life...many people get responsibilities really earlier and others not.... I don't know, I just can talk about my life and at this point (I think Im old, well)I like have so much experience with freedom, my money and health.....I can be myself and do what I want!!!....but thats my life.

Its like a circle -
Baby - your in diapers, you get fed, no worries. Until you have responsibilities - a house, children, jobs.. yeah, its gets a hell of a lot harder.
Then your back to diapers when your old - you dont have much to worry about when your in a nursing home and everyone is taking care of you, do you?
The hardest part of your life is when you've got a wife/husband/kids, a job, a house, debts to pay and all of that.

No,it gets tougher because you will have more responsibilities. You will have a family to take care or just your self. you have to prvide yourself with everything you/they need, like food, clothes and shelter.
