the whole album??? i listened to the guilty pleasure song in Spanish, and to be honest, i prefer the English version,
and i speak perfect Spanish!!

Their concert here in Iowa was canceled the other day due to the massive flooding happening here (the town they were supposed to play in -Iowa City- is completely underwater). I didn't have a ticket for it anyway, but it was a sold out show. I feel so bad for the people who did have tix to go.

Oh well, 2 weeks until I see them on Warped.

I'm thinking of seeing them play at their London show with FTSK. Should be an interesting show hopefully they don't sell out though

anyway, I remember singing the chorus from Guilty Pleasure to MC Lars when they were playing, while i was talking to him back at give it a name, good times.

I'm leaving in 9 hours to see them. OH THE EXCITEMENT!

The show was epic! We met everyone except Nate. He wasn't feeling too good D:

Full review plz with pictures!

First off, I need to say that this show was EPIC.

We arrived at the venue at around 2:30 pm. I was thinking, "Man, there is already going to be some people in line. We're screwed" HAHAHA. I was way wrong. When we got there, there was only three other people in line. We had a 5 1/2 hour wait until the doors opened, so we took a nice little seat on the concrete. Not even an hour later, a taxi cab comes up the venue and I was like, "Hey! What if Gabe was in there!?", then about 10 minutes later, a SUV type car came by and when I looked inside I saw a person who I thought looked like Gabe, then out of the car comes Gabe, Alex, and Ryland. Of course, we stayed calmed and just looked at them as they came up towards us and the three other people who were in line. We talked for a couple minutes then they went inside. Everyone was to nervous to ask for pictures or autographs but it was still amazing. After that, nothing to exciting happened while we waited, Victoria was riding around on her pink and purple bike which was the cutest bike I had ever seen. Nate walked by a couple of times, but he was unloading his stuff so we left him alone.

Now, let's fast forward to the show. We got a place right on the stage so we knew this was going to be amazing. First off was a band named Delux. They were "Tijuana Punk Rock" basically, spanish punk music. I liked them. Next off was the Secret Handshake. I had heard of them but never really listened to them. They had this really synth-y sound, I'm going to have to listen to them more. Unfortunately, the main guy from The Secret Handshake took forever setting up which cut off about two songs from We The Kings set list. :[ but it was all good. We The Kings was amazing. I got a set list which I had Travis sign after the show.

After We The Kings, the band everyone was there for took the stage. Cobra was amazing. I'll only mention the epic moments of the show though. First off, I was recording a song and Gabe went up to me and took my camera and started filming the crowd and himself. It was wow. Then, It was the merch guys birthday so they had a mom from the crowd come on stage and give him a lap dance. During Snakes on A Plane, Gabe came over to me and Brian and gave Brian the mic for a line of the song. After Snakes on a Plane, the band left the stage but everyone knew that that wasn't the last song. Gabe came back first and sang the first verse of Hollaback Boy! Then, Gabe actually sang the first verse of Guilty Pleasure in spanish and I sung along. It was a once in a lifetime event.

After the show, we stayed to meet Cobra of course. First off was Gabe. He is the nicest guy alive, I swear. He remembered us from line and told us how grateful he was for us being there. Then we went on to meet Ryland, then Suarez, then Vicky-t. We really didn't have conversations with them like we did with Gabe but they are still really nice.

The goods I left the show with:
- A nice purple shirt with the fangs up on front and the back says Fangs Up! Cobra Starship!
- A great baby blue shirt that says
"Suavez&
La Hoya&
Pleasure&
Nasty&
Gabanti."
- A hoodie that has the fangs up on the right front pocket side, and on the back it has a conversation bubble that says "Yo! Cobra Starship!"
- Cobra ring as seen on the Viva La Cobra! CD Cover.
- A random green pic from a band.
- We The Kings set list signed by Travis
- Autographed Viva La Cobra insert (minus Nate)
- Crumpled confetti from the performance of Guilty Pleasure.


This is definitely the second best show I have been to. I loved being at a show with only about 100 kids for once.

Word of advice on that, don't bring chocolate. It melts hardcore. We didn't even get a chance to give it to him before we had to throw it away

I met Gabe in the warped tour July sixth in Houston, they were doing this interview for Latin kids, since I'm Latin i went, all went well first and then he was like: "you have a pretty fluid English talk ,do you live in the US?" and i was like "yes" and he's like "did you know that the interview was only for kids who LIVED in a Latin country and came to the warped tour" and i was like "yeah (amused) but i wanted you to meet you guys, you are awesome"
and he was like "thanks a lot, now if you let me talk to that other kid (there was an actual Latin kid in there) we can talk later" and then he signed some stuff and i was like "well i have to go Gabe (i didn't want to be a disturbance) " and he was like "alright" and i went home happy with my viva la cobra signed.
