If so, who is it?

http://www.morrice.info/artists/images/van...tarry_night.jpgI love Van Gogh too, and his Starry Night paintings especially. I'm always reminded of them when I hear Billie Joe sing 'starry nights, city lights' in Are We the Waiting, and when I made a sig for Wake Me Up When September Ends - with its own 'stars' image - I put Vincent's stars in Billie Joe's sky. I found it moving to think of these two beautiful artists, separated by so much time and living in such different worlds, both looking up at the stars.
My sig -
http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d161/jes...berstarssig.jpgI like a wide variety of artists - everyone from Rembrandt to Hopper to Tracey Emin, and I buy a painting from any unknown artist that appeals to me whenever I can. It's a great privelige to own a piece of original work, and I'm not a labels person in art or anywhere else!
I'll try and find links for the artists I mentioned - here's another of Vincent's Starry Night paintings -
