Unfortunately I'm not and it sucks. I was planning on buying the tickets this week off eBay, but my mom stopped me since she wants me to go to her friend's 40th birthday party (fucking BORING) instead. And I have no choice... I would have loved to go, though! =(

Bob Dylan is still amazing and his shows are well worth attending - especially if you're familiar with all his music for years and years and eons as I am

I'm excited for you!

As a songwriter, I compare Bob Dylan with Billie Joe and Alanis Morissette and John Lennon. I told my son last time we saw Dylan, "He just rips his heart out and throws it on the stage for everyone to see what's in it - no holding back." It's not only his lyrics, though that's a lot of it - it's also his delivery. I hope you have a great time and enjoy him as much as we did!
I'm going to this:
DFEST Music Festival July 25 & 26, 2008

I have no idea, heh. But I'm not expecting much, to be honest, since Nightwish's music is so complex in every single way. I wonder if they have an Opera singer, and if they'll have the tapes for all the orchestra parts.
