woot woot, Stanley is the first pet in this thread
I don't have a picture, but this comment is pet-related...I just called my sister and she was all weepy and sad because her kitten died this morning and she has no idea what happened. She believes she killed it or something, but I said all the pet store animals basically suck...

That sucks, I'm sorry. If she got it from a pet store, she should go get her money back, and then tell everyone she knows not to buy from pet stores.
aww we need to get rid of 4 kittens cause if we keep them then we'll have 7 cats and we already have 2 little shit head annoying cats. and one of them has a long patch of missing fur on it's tail.
You're getting them all fixed (along with the cat(s) that had them) before you find homes for the, right? Because not to would be very irresponsible.

Do you think they'd give her the money back? I figured they'd just accuse her of killing it by malnutrition or something. Pet stores are just corrupt... but she was desperate to have a little baby (without having a real baby) which makes it even more sad.

well i want to get the cat fixed but i cant afford it and i dont want to take it to the SPCA cause i'll feel bad but once the kittens grow a bit more, i'll probabaly take them to the pet shop.

And judith, was it a purebred kitten? What pet store was it (because I used to manage a Petland and know their policies pretty thoroughly.)
I'm not sure if it was purebred, and it was just a local pet store, not one of the huge pet supply chainstores. Would it be more likely to die if it wasn't purebred?
No, but I know that Petland has a one year health guarantee on all of their purebred puppies and kittens. Even so, she really should at least try to get her money back. Even if the place doesn't admit that it could have been a pre existing condition, she should at least feel better knowing that she told them what happened.

thanks! Lol we also had 2 cats when I lived in florida but we got rid of them 'cause they were tearing up everything. Yeah, my mom's not a big fan of chahuahuas(spelling) or any little dogs.

My dogs
I have a German shephard puppy, and a hamster, and lots of fish indoor and out. But about a month ago I had an extra 3 guinea pigs, another dog and another hamster... plus a grandad But they all died :(

This is my dog Reese chewing on my cat Cricket.
I have 2 big dogs too. one is a black lab mixed w/ german shepard and the other one is a lab, rotweiler (sp) mix. Ill try to find a picture.
Reese's shirt is made from my sock from when i was like 6 so thats how little she is.
i would like to deticate this post to chancey.....my friend janes dog who was put to sleep to today at 4:45pm.....
