The Clash members were already in bands. They knew how to play music, heard of the 101's?

They would have still made it.

Gotta say John Lydon is just turning into a joke
and bringing the band down with him

We shoul d agree to disagree.

all the Pistols did was beat around the bush for a year and a half, cash in, and leave. (and repeated the process on future tours)
The Clash actually did something.

Which is true. But The Clash took punk further than The Sex Pistols ever would.

Anyhow, if we're going down the road, Pistols would never have gotten into music were it not for The Ramones.

That is very true about the Ramones. For me they are number one out of the three but with The Clash and the Sex Pistols they are about the same to me. Im more into the Sex Pistols at the moment though. They are both influential bands and The Clash was the first punk band that took a strong hold on my life but right now I am exploring the Sex Pistols sound and music. They are all good bands.

Yer the Sex Pistols only did what the others did.

Pretty Vacant is just.....excellent (:

Mayra Vicious
It is one of the best punk albums.

My favorite songs on that album is Bodies, Anarchy in The U.K and Liar
