HI OUT THERE!!!
I was wondering if some of you people have an idea of all the good punk rock bands out there who sings in spanish. bANDS FROM sPAIN AND aRGENTINA.

That is just because here in URUGUAY (or ARGENTINA)... we listen to a lot of bands in english... but I think that in England or USA no one listen to bands who sing in spanish.

By the way I´ll recommend some bands: SKA-P, LA POLLA RECORDS, ESKORBUTO, ATAQUE 77

How can you compare Maná with that tosser ?

Mana is a very good band. they are very talented.
Do you know "Los Nocheros"? they are very good, too.

"Charlie Garcia" is awesome , he is such a druggie.
Then "Los Callejeros" they kick ass ! Both from Argentina.

SKA-P broke up, if you didn't know (just in case).
Over here (Spain), during the last months I've heard about some young punk band called NoWayOut, or something like that. They sing both in Spanish and in English (that's what I've heard). I've only heard like 2 or 3 songs from them. They're not spectacularly good but probably some of you will like them, dunno really. They aren't one of my favourite bands but I was only mentioning them in case you are interested.
Anyways, the spanish rock I listen to isn't really punk. Do any of you know Sôber? They broke up, I know, but they were quite good. Other good bands: Skizoo (what some people would term as a "supergroup", with members from Sôber, XXL ...), ZOO, Savia, ESTIRPE... In reality there are many bands that most people don't really know.
Did anyone like Héroes del Silencio? Not Bunbury on his own, but the band. They were quite good too, although some songs maybe weren't really, really good. If you get a chance listen to "Entre dos tierras", that's a kickass song, or "Avalancha".

Do you know Diego Torres? He's a very good singer, if you haven't heard any of his songs, you should. The songs Penelope and Color Esperanza are very beautiful,though. Especially the lyrics. This man is well known by his beautiful lyrics.

I think Mana SUCKS!!!! and I hate the vocalist's voice....eek. And who compared them to Robbie Williams?!?...wtf...they are so different.

yeah panda's cool but they've ripped off all of their songs from a LOT of bands u know the riffs, lyrics melody everything including from green day..so

I liked Shakira, I was a huge fan of her...But I like the first 2 albums...then she sell out and her style changed...I don't like what she's doing now.

Maná is one of the best bands i've seen live, and i've seen a lot of bands

I would love to see them live.
I hope they come to London some time soon.

Well... yes.. is very sad that Ska-p broke up...They are of a barrio called Vallecas.I love that barrio.It isn´t a polite barrio,but I like it.I go there many times,but because I have family there. I wish see the band around one day!
I love many bands in my country..of course,above all Ska-p,Pignoise(oh I love them!),Extremoduro,Mago de Oz...etc-

Well, I've heard lots of names but haven't ever heard a thing.

1. I hate Babasonicos with a passion, haha. Can't stand listening to them. Not even a bit so as to see whether they have talent or not.
2. You might not like Maná, nor Diego Torres, but they have so much talent. Maná has a kick ass drummer. I don't like El Otro Yo, but I¡ve heard some of their tuff and they've got talent, too.
3. La Renga is another very talented band.
Shakira used to make good music, I liked her back in the old days, then she changed and
4. I'm not even gonna comment on Julieta Venegas. She sucks so bad she doesn't even deserve a critic. -1 talent.

2.- Panda... they stole many songs from mcr, fob, and even Green Day, but i think they're cool. they're new album is cool
3.- Nikki Clan... another pop-punk band i like

those are possibly my three most favorite latinamerican bands. i also like pop-ish singers like Belinda, Julieta Venegas, Paulina Rubio, etc. i'm not that punk

Soda Stereo: geniouses, I love them.

Heroes del Silencio are from spain, their music gets a little monotonous sometimes but they have really great songs too!

La Ley... a lot of people don't like them but I just looove them.

La Gusana Ciega are a band from mexico, they are kinda underground, they're great.

zurdok, the first two albums... AWESOME.

Jumbo: also very good music.

Celso Piña, although I really don't know why I like his music

Santa Sabina, my very favorite latin american band right now. You probably never heard of them because they're underground but they're amazing. Their music is a blend of gothic/rock/jazz/new age, something like that. Beautiful.


BUT... I really, really HATE Maná.
The only song I like of them is Tonto en la Lluvia, and only because is a Led Zeppelin song

I got bored of 'em ages ago.


They suck.

Extremoduro are alright I guess but they get a bit annoying sometimes.
I kind of like El Canto Del Loco. Their lyrics are a pile of horse shit but Dani's voice is not that bad.
And Maná. I fucking love them.
And I HATE Ska-p. I just can't see how they are good.
And I used to like Shakira back in the day. She was one of the few things I listened to before I got into more rock bands and such. But her songs now are horrible.
Los Delinquentes are kind of good.

I heard a lot of good stuff about Ska-P, but never actually bothered to listen to them

They've got talent.
And tbh if you were here, you'd hate Heroes Del Silencio too. They have been so overplayed over here. It just makes me want to murder everyone.
