In your gym classes, if your a guy, do you pass to girls if your playing sports? and girls, do guys pass to you?

it made me really mad when we were playing Gatorball in gym today, and me and some other girls were all open and we'd be yelling that we were open, and none of the guys would pass to us. and it went on for at least half the game, and finally we just took the ball, and wouldn't pass to them, and we ended up scoring more points then the guys did.

And i know some girls just stand around and act like Barbie dolls, but some of us actually try, and it just makes me mad when were open and participating, and they won't pass to us because they think we can't do anything.

ever happen to you guys?

i odnt do pe anymore, but when i did, there was a rule that goals couldnt be scored unless a girl had touched it

Well i dont play sports, never did in gym class either. The second problem is that you're playing "Gatorball", I dont know what that is, but you're from Canada, so that explains most of the problem.

i hate it when that happens. because of the guys i failed pe and now i cant graduate.

In my gym class,If my P.E teachers away we usually have to go with the guys class and my class it a girl and boy class so we never get a choice what to do.
Like today,There was a vote,The guys chose dodge ball and I wanted to play,but I couldn't cuzz I'm a chick and everyone would hit me in 2 seconds.
So I had to go with this other class and all the girls where afraid to touch the baseball gloves cuzz they were "SWEATY AND GROSS AND THEY MADE THERE HANDS SWEATY"
It was pathetic.
I was the only one playing.

And then when were playing a team sport the guys never pass it to me,and sometimes when the girls get it passed to them or I'm on an all girls team I never get it passed to me cuzz they only pass it to there friends.

yeah i get that. i dont really like sports anyway. but when i do play they only pass it to eachother. never to girls and the girls only pass it to there friends, therefore i never get the ball. meh i dont really worry though

sometimes that happens, gets annoying just cause they don't want to lose a game...

At our school boys and girls have PE separately So I wouldn't know

But that also means that we have to play crap sports like netball, hockey and volleyball, when the guys get to play football, rugby and cricket.

when I took PE last year, the guys did pass us the ball. but we'd usually stand by the goal or the last yard line or whatever sport we'd be playing, ready to score a point. they did all the work.

Well... I think it depends on the girl. Personally, I am a girl, and I am good at like all sports, so yes, the guys always pass to me and when they pick teams I am usually the first to be picked. But then there are the girls who do nothing and then that's when thye don't get the ball and stuff.

It's probably because in PE girls are always so ditzy and like OMG ITS A BALL!! I wouldn't pass it to them either...the only reason I got the ball passed to me was because I tried to actually play.

I'd pass it to 'em just so I wouldn't have to play. haha

I'm pretty good in sports and I was one of the first who got chosen. The guys passed the ball to me a lot. But I can understand that they don't wanna pass it to some girl. They are just standing there like a patato bag. I don't pass the ball to them either.
Bestest sport are football (soccer), Rugby(Football), Baseball and basketball. Team sports are great. Luckily I always had a very sportive class. Boys AND girls. Good times!

I never had such problem : I was one of the best player in the school in sports like basketball and handball and guys always wanted me to be on their team.



Yeah, we had the same rule in our school. It was pretty stupid because most of the girls didn't want to play and were pleased when the guys didn't pass the ball to them.

I like sports at my school, i play Football (soccer to americans) for the guys team, they changed the rules so i could play. I do pass the guys but a lot of them do kinda smell...

i have 2 play volley ball with the teachers!! i play with them on Fridays, im shit but oh well its fun!

I don't go to a mixed school, but in my primary school everyone passed to everyone. But I went to a TINY school (there was only 1 class per year which held about 18 people!) and everyone was young and friendly.

and it pisses me off too... but most of time id rather not have the ball no usually i just shrug it off
but they control everything and ugh it is annoying
they dont think us girls are capable of doing anything athletic
at least most of the guys in my school cause theyre all big jocky sport people who think they know everything

Most of the things we do in PE, I hate and I suck at it so I don't care if they pass me or not 'cause I hate having the ball, so it doesn't matter.. And most of the time we're seperated girls/boys

I don't think it's just guys, I think it's girls too. The jocks always pass to one another, which really doesn't matter much to me, because I suck at sports anyway and don't want to play.

Its like rugby and soccer put together. Except, obviously since were playing it in school, we can't tackle. But I mean in any sport, soccer, floorball, hockey, basketball..

oh and i noticed a lot of you said you had a seperate classes for girls and boys, well, that wouldn't work at our school. i think there is 10 girls in our gym class and.. 15 guys? maybe. It might be less. And we don't have enough space for that, or enough teachers.

At my school, there's a guys gym class and a girl's gym class. No offence to you ladies, but holy shit, the girl's class does absolutely nothing. The guys (me) do all kinds of stuff, and it's really competetive.... hehe, we played full contact European handball the other day, it was awesome!

The boys and girls PE lessons at my school got split up into two groups, because apparently it was "inappropriate".

Last year our teacher wouldn't let the girls play with the guys. She said they were too dangerous. This year my teacher doesn't give a shit. Every friday we spend the whole period (which is 75 minutes in my school) sitting and talking in the weight room, and even when we actually play stuff we don't do anything. Somehow I have a 100 in that class.

i cant wait till next year... supposedly if we dont want to participate we can walk the track or go to the weight room. and my friends brother in high school is stacking cups for gym. so much easier than volleyball

when i was going to the local huge public school in frosh and sophmore years, pe sucked. i was never good at ball sports like soccer, basketball or football, but i tried my best. i also have asthma, and the guys AND girls would make fun of me cuz my light skin would turn really red. unfortunetly when we were playing tennis i pulled a ligiment in my foot (it still hurts sometimes, a whole 4 years later!) i was unable to run very fast--the one thing we did that i was good at. then, when we started swimming--which was at that time my sport--everyone would make fun of me still. "super swimmer!" they used to tease. "look, i caught up to johanna! wooo!"

i seemed to get teased no matter what. lol
