Domes cause I can breath better...
DeathOrGlory
clubs, it's much more intimate and special
longview33
club.. for the same reasons above.
Kleptomaniac
Domes are outside right?
Well I go to an outside place all the time then I go to arenas
never been to a stadium show or a club.
BassChick_GD
i like clubs the best and outside festival type deals. I like being able to roam around freely.
danielharris627
arena, but i get too hot so maybe a dome or stadium.
Quietus
Club, my first mosh pit and I will never be the same.
mclaren
different for every band.
Laura.
Depends whos playing. But mainly clubs.

Smaller is better in this particular case: clubs are the best, hands down!

I have been to one arena concert - Springsteen- and hope to never need repeat it, all the sound got funneled up to the clouds and airplanes flying overhead every 10 min, all I could think was that we were all sitting ducks if one of those planes dropped.

Been to a number of smaller concert halls which have since closed down, a pity since they were a nice alternative to a club.

Radio City Music Hall is about as large as I'd want to go.
TotalBasketCase13
The only concert I've been to was an arena one, so I'll go with that.
woven_basketcase
e. all of the above.
i don't care where it is. i'm not picky.
as long as i get music and stuff.
ImnotaDrIjustPlayOneOnTV
clubs. I can see better (more intimate) you can drink real alcoholic beverages (not just beer like in most arenas, stadiums) and most clubs still allow smoking. (At least around here they do)
Maru
clubs!
JakeyBoy
I've never been to a club but I think that'd be the best
punx_not_dead
depends what band it is but probably a stadium more moshing!! hecktick amount of people
or dome where u can sit and less people and watch but i prefer stadium
rudiecantfail
clubs are fun. but i cant hear a damn thing afterward.
piratepalmer
Clubs definitely. I hate stadium gigs - only been to a few mind. Festival gigs are the biggest I go to really. Clubs are great because it's much more intimate and you feel more involved. Can't see Green Day playing at the Academy in Bristol tho laugh.gif

I havent been to a club. I'm too young for the ones here.

But i've been to all of the others. I like just an open outdoor place with just a stage. Like warped tour.
thislove1985
I like pretty much any stage...there's more crowd participation with bigger venues though, which seems to make the show more enjoyable for everyone, including the artist.
Undone
It makes no difference as long as the band can work the size of the audience in relation to the size of the venue and the sound mixing is good.
chewie
well i dont really think it matter's... as long as you can see them and they can work the audience
and everyone's happy..... then to ME it dont really matter. smile.gif
Watoosh
i like small places.
InternationalSuperhits!
Doesn't matter. If the band knows how to work the crowd and plays decent music, then it's all good.
Hybrid Meteora
It doesnt really matter. If the band plays an awsome show and I have a kick ass time, then thumbsup.gif

I think concerts can be good in any kind of venue. I've seen Green Day in a couple different places...the SBC park show was HUGE but totally awesome, and the smaller shows i went to at the Bill Grahm Civic was cool cuz they were more intimate. It all depends I guess.

EDIT:

Our local club, The Catalyst. Check it out!

ciuccia
stadium or arena thumbsup.gif
misterPG
Clubs cause it's smaller..
Jose Luis
arenas
presidentgasman
Depends which band but if it was Green Day, I guess an arena or a stadium. But either way, the pit is extremely stuffy.
spark in the night
well I've only been to two different venues. The Palace- which is an arena and The State Theatre which is a small place with a little balcony. I prefer the State Theatre because its not so big and you can get great seats no matter where you are. Usually they have the mosh pit and then up above there's a balcony and no matter where you are its a great visual distance from the stage
Kleptomaniac
I've only been in an outside amphitheater and a basketball looking arena for Green Day
I'll be in a club concert next month
drummer*chic
it depends

i've been to the state theater before. that place is pretty cool, i suppose. but i prefer places that are all general admission and on the floor and stuff. like the shelter, the magic stick, the majestic theatre, clutch cargos, saint andrew's hall, etc. (those are all places in or around detroit... most of which are all within 20 feet of each other).
darkhriss
anywhere, if it's a band I like
Matt3.1
Stadium...The concert just seems so..huge and big and loud.
starbucksfreak
arena's and venues. thats all we got here tongue.gif
ArmatageShanks39
i like our shitty local places. not even a club, just a little room no one ever uses, or the empty top floor of some building. its pretty sweet.
The_original_mrs_cool
clubs, i like the personal touch. Also, the bigger the band and the smaller the venue the better.
Secret gigs like deftones at the scala and king adora at the garage have been the best two gigs of my life, and ive been to a fuck load of big gigs.
Jimmy's_Rebel
It doesn't really matter - i've never been to a Dome show or anything like that. But i've seen bands in Arenas and been a bit funny before going, thinking that it wouldn't be good because there's so many people and it ends up rocking biggrin.gif it's amazing to see so many people who like your favourite band and singing the lyrics and stuff.

My favourite venue though is the Manchester Apollo, cause it's a theatre and it just has this really cool vibe about it. And the stage is quite low and small so it's better.
Jose Luis
i've never gone to any, but there is an arena near where i live and it's called "Dodge Arena", i've always wanted that green day go there
Jimmy's_Rebel
I think the nearest one to me is Milton Keynes - but even that's far away. I didn't go this time around to see GD but if they play it next time i'll definately go.
Laura.
Clubs; cockpit. http://www.thecockpit.co.uk/ my fav place in leeds smile.gif
Kacky
It doesn't matter...I like them all. smile.gif

greendaykicksballs
ARENA! it makes the music so much louder in arenas! plus theres usually nice mosh pits!
totally mad
Arenas are a nice size, but as long as the band is amazing I don't mind tongue.gif

But then again who are you appealing to? If a person would prefer to perform in or to watch someone in a Stadium, Arena, Domes or Club?
varistytrackchix
i dont think i would like to be in a club cause it would be too small well idk
i have to see
apocalipstick
Clubs and other small venues are great because of the intimacy.
Warning__
I'd have to say stadiums. Fresh air, lots of participation and stuff, etc.

This should have been a poll.
Shadowiegirl
No I prefer the clubs, the smaller the better, much more intimate an experience.
