Dallas Green how i love you, your voice, and your music. its brilliant. for those of you that dont know what im talking about; Dallas Green is the guitarist from the band alexisonfire; other known as "the guy who doesnt scream". hes done a solo side project which he named appropriately city and colour. the style of music is quite different from what we're use to seeing him do but its amazing. he's brilliant in both genres. lately ive been seeing a lot of musicians pulling a "john mayer", there are so many of them trying to be all sensitive, touchy feely with their lyrics, and capturing the hearts of teenage girls and all that jazz.
but i kid you not; dallas green is amazing and what hes doing in both genres.
so to any dallas green fans out here, have any favourite songs? have you seen him live? etc.

he's coming to vancouver, but it sold out before i had even heard of it. i probably would have gone. i've had his demos for a couple years now, so it's cool to see him finally getting some attention.

Unless someone else has a song by the same name, yes it is.

"With you on my mind and my heart held in your hands"
that kind of thing. I got that on a mix CD on the front of a magazine late 2006 I think, and I loved it with the slight exception of the fact Casey is the name of the biggest slaggy slapper in the school, with a face like a bullock's arse.

i've brought this thread to life, because i've discovered my love for them, once again. i have to say that i am more fond of Sometimes then Bring Me Your Love. but all in all both are lovely. dallas green is a great lyricist. i'm listenting to "hello i'm in deleware" right now.
