a very good, unique band. does anyone like them? they're first cd was great, the second though isn't as good. i've seen them twice and they're good live. they're also nice jared leto signed our ticket when we went to a concert , he was in a hurry to do an interview, and tomo their guitarist stayed and talked to us for about 5 minutes, since no one knew who 30stm were. (n yes, jared leto is in this band).

Meh, I don't like their music. Maybe because my sister is so obsessed with them I can't stand them anymore, or maybe just because I don't like that kind of music. I used to like Capricorn when it came out, though. It seems to me that 30STM fans are not too keen of that one anyway, are they?

I was in the audience when they performed on Fuse's Daily Download on June 7th and it was a kick ass performance and I saw Jared Leto in person, he seems like a really cool dude. I love his movies and he's a good musician.

I saw them at Bamboozle, one of the best live acts I've seen in awhile. They sounded amazing and really worked the crowd, too.

They're not my favorite.

Honestly until I saw their live act, I hated this band. A lot. But after seeing how amazing they are live I'm definitely a fan. Seriously, give these guys' live show a chance, it'll be worth it.

my brother likes them a lot. i remember him being pissed that they came to michigan during the one week all year that he was out of state. i got him a flyer for the show though because i'm the coolest sister ever (i'm nota fan of them, but i went to a different show at the same venue a few weeks before and they had the flyers there).

Yes, Jared is an actor. It was actually his first major role. Then he made movies. Later on in 2002 about him, his brother and a few friends came up with an album.

Capricorn is awesome. I just love the tone of the song... it's so eerie. It's one of the first songs I heard that made me like them.

i picked up their second cd like last year around the time it came out, and listened to it a little bit.
then this may i saw them at bamboozle live, and they were simply amazing. great.
so ive been listening ot them more and got around to listening to their stuff on thier first cd.
theyre great.

I totally agree... the video is amazing. I swear it's the best looking video I've seen since Boulevard of Broken Dreams as far as visual artistry goes.

I especially love the scene when they are all discovering their doppelgangers; Jared pinning himself up against the wall, Shannon seeing himself move separately in a mirror, Matt serving himself a drink at the bar, Tomo watching himself get a blowjob from a guy in a bear suit.... good stuff.

As for the old guy, I’m pretty sure they are trying to re-create one of the characters from The Shinning, (like the girl in the bathtub or the blowjob bear). Not necessarily the same character, but one that is similar. Jared and Shannon are both big fans of The Shinning, so I guess that’s why they decided to make the video in that kind of setting.
