I just hope everything goes to plan for my friend Jesse today, Epitaph kinda fucked her around with the interview, because they wouldn't tell her how long she'd have with the band, apparently she only has 15 minutes, that's what Matt said... he said for her to get there "early" which proved to be a bit of a kerfuffle. I hope she has someone fer sure to go with now to the show and gets to go

I feel like .... i'm all words and no action. I told people how I was going to get Shawn on the phone, well my friend said that, also how she'd record him getting the box and take a photo of him for me with a sign or whatever... that all didn't happen.
I've even heard that Shawn said he doesn't wanna tour the UK again
but, he got the box of presents I had for him. Though he didn't look at them last night, he told my friend that he'd email me once he has... but *sigh*

damn, i feel like i'm stuck in a rut. All that stuff in that box was fer Shawn, and the letter is pretty long, so it might take him double time if he ever replies in an email to me.

Trust me, I'm really nervous about what kind of reception I get to it. Because of the letter, I've said A LOT in that letter, i'll message you it on myspace or something in a few minutes... i've.. pretty much put almost everything in there.

As soon as I hopefully get this 2nd job. I'm moving out by this time next year hopefully, it'll pay hopefully up to £700 a month.. woots. I just need to be somewhere where I can see them live more than once a year.

And well, I've been doing promoting for them since last year, but I started a myspace for that a few months ago... and one of my friends said that I should message Epitaph... which didn't work out so well... because the fuckers never e-mailed me back.

SO, I was talking to another friend of mine whom suggested that I message Jon on his SoapSpace... which I did..

and voila!

He said that they could use more help and asked for my e-mail of which he was going to give to their manager and onto Robbie, their promo-team co-ordinater.

My big plan that I'm acting on right now is that I'm hopefully going to host a benefit show for them in my town next year (around the time they're touring) I've already got two bands that are going to play at the show, and they're not bad either
I would be contacting the venue, but I have no idea when to do it for, maybe next april.
I've contacted their UK/intl. bookings person, Steve Zapp. I'm just HOPING that they can also play the benefit show, as half of the proceeds that will be made that evening will go towards them. I'm hoping to get some art done for some auctions and stuff and signed CD's for people to bid on.
it's a big plan, but I've got the guts and heart to put in it to make it happen.

Also, the local press and radio will be involved... hell yeah. I am keeping my fingers crossed..
