dookiehead
I've only got Crimson, and I only got it recently, but i have Private Eye & Stupid Kid from various compilations.... With the exception of Sadie, Mercy Me and Back To Hell those two songs are way better than the rest of that album.
alexeinwonderland
I really like them. I think my favorite song is Burn.
danielharris627
I used to like them in like 2000 when no one had heard of them or anything.
Anyone heard Stupid kid? Thats song is good.
Phoebe.
Hahaha the video for Stupid Kid is so great laugh.gif
Mrs Hahn
really
i havnt heard one song of them
EatTheMeek
Alkaline Trio makes you wanna drink huge amounts of alcohol and shoot yourself in the face - in a good way!
My favorite-band for 6 months and counting, Matt Skiba is god (or the anti-christ) smile.gif
Joey
Jesus Christ they are bad. Saw them live and they bored the crap out of me.
littlelestgothgirl
Awwww Alkaline trio are great- great back catalogue of songs and awesome live bunny.gif
Richie Hell
I have From Here To Infirmiary and Good Mourning. Very good albums. Crimson is crap though.

Seen them live 4 times, and I have to say they were pretty disappointing each time. Except maybe the 4th, which was actually quite good, and easily the best of the 4.
sullenriot16
Second only to Green Day. And its a close second.
Immortality
I only heard The Poison and Wash Away, but I loved them ^^
L.G. FUAD
The Poison is one of the best on the new album. I love Prevent This Tragedy and Sadie as well.
Light My Fire
never heard them.
Extraordinary_Girl
I haven't listened to many songs but I pretty much like what I've heard so far, meaning This Is Getting Over You, Time To Waste, Prevent This Tragedy, Hell Yes and Radio. Apart from that, I've read some lyrics from Phoebe's sig and some others she's posted, and I've got to say they are really good and have a lot of meaning to me at least, of course, the ones I've read which aren't many and I don't even remember what songs they belong to. confused.gif sad.gif

Fantasy
I love Alkaline Trio.
I'm addicted to This Could Be Love and Radio.

smile.gif Indeed. I downloaded Sadie and Posion after reading this thread because of the people here, who seem to like those songs. I've got to say I totally loved them, I might be getting into them.
greenday_punk1039

Phoebe.
Here you go Chaz, try in here. We already made one.
Brain Stew
mmhh they're ok I guess.

vitsi Silja sua ei oo näkyny ikuisuuksiin!
heartlikegrenade
alkaline trio is alright. they have a good somg here and there but
most of their songs sound the same which is disappointing. maybe
if their songs were not all the same in an essence they would be better.
they are just another pop punk band to me.
Jen
i love alk3.
Greenforaday101
I listened to Alkaline Trio after my first class while I waited for the bus today

smile.gif
Holden
they are great, good mourning is my favorite album, this could be love is probably my favorite song
Chaz
I really think the intro to Time To Waste is freakin' great!
Immortality
I went to a concert where they opened for MCR, but I didn't know any of their songs, so shame...I couldn't sing along.
Jen
ew, WTF THEY OPENED FOR MCR?
what the fuck is WRONG WITH THEM
THEY'RE BETTER THAN THAT.
Phoebe.
A band called Sunshine opened for them, some guys we stood with threw mints and marmalade at them. a mint got stuck on the cloth covering some equipment, and we all cheered smile.gif

Then some dude called Mike Park came on, and gace us this really sweet set, that dude was awesome. He played a slideshow of everyone he looked up to, including MR MIYAGI (wax on wax off) and the crowd went crazy. He played a really cool acousticy set.

Alk3 opened with Back To Hell and everyone was just on fire.

I loved it. There was cups of water and joints being passed round everywhere, I came out smelling like beer sweat and smoke.
That's the way to do it.

I really like them. I think my favorite song is Burn.

i love that song too! i recently saw them in december they were really good...but it seemed like the crowd wasnt so into them like my sister and i were ...i guess because mostly the crowd were there to see the bravery
sullenriot16
Private Eye was the first trio song I ever heard, and it will always have a very special place in my heart. wub.gif That songs owns.
Phoebe.
My favourite song of thiers has to be Maybe I'll Catch Fire, purely becuase when they performed it live it just shone above all the others.
I also never realised just how much vocals Dan does, almost more than Matt, if not More!
Laura.
I saw them live with Test Icicles last year, Test Icicles was so much betta, and they was support!
Armstrongette
Gonna see them Feb 24th. Woooo woot.gif
Anyone else going?
ykelly1
The only CD of theirs I have is Crimson, and I think it's pretty good. My favorites on that album are Mercy Me and Dethbed (you'd think their record label would offer spellcheck - tongue.gif )
Shadowiegirl
my stepson got me into them, and I only have Crimson after hearing him play "time to waste", but I presumed Dethbed was spelt that way intentionally??
blitzkrieg
i know there playing soon in australia at the hi fi bar in melbourne.... march 8th and 9th, cant remeber which is over 18s and umderage gig... mercy me is good, cant remember others
