Okay, so after the night of our lives in Dallas, my mom, my sis and I knew that we absolutely HAD to make it to another show. We just didn't know how! After four horrible days at my house with us all deppressed, we finally got the money to get down there! (since my dad who is jealous of Billie refused to fund our trip) Anyway, we got the money about 3 hours before the bus supposed to leave and made the 27 hour trip down to LA. The ride was miserable! Then we took a LONG city bus ride to Hollywood where we arrived around 9. When we got there, there were already 130 people in line! (going by my wristband number 131) So we knew we wouldn't be in the front, but at least we were there! We met some cool people in line who let us use their phone to call someone for a ride home that night since at that point we had no clue how we were going to leave the club, much less how we were going to get back to Texas (we're still here as we speak and still don't know!) Seriously, if he hadn't of let us call we might have been stuck on sunset all night!! Anyway, Kerrang magazine interviewed us about our trip and took a lot of pictures of us which was really cool! I would post up a review but the whole thing was just an unbeleivable blur of a good time. I ended up front row because I was behind some kids to start with. I don't blame them for leaving though, my legs DIED! The whole time people were getting up on stage. He grabbed my hand again! And I got to kiss his head! When he sang 'pieces of truth' I got on stage and got to dance with him and sang with him into his microphone until a guard pulled me off. Billie remembered my sister from Dallas and danced with her again, then defended her against a guard and tried to give her all his necklaces but he pulled them too hard and they all broke. Then he gave her the beads! haha.. We found Kevin who was really suprised to see us there and talked to him for a long time. He told us we were crazy but awesome for comming. He introduced us to his parents and grandparents who were REALLY nice! They thanked us a lot of times for comming! He told us to wait after the show and not to leave but the guards didn't believe us and kicked everyone out of the venue. Ron Jermey was there and told my sister he saw her on stage and she was cute. hah. Then we saw Adrienne who we didn't take pictures with because she was looking for her friends. Anyway, we'll have to come up with a way to get home now that we're stuck here, but after all the problems, bruises and troubles we went through, it was COMPLETELY worth it! And I'd do it all over again in a second!

Awesome indeed! I know how you felt. After Little Rock, I just HAD to catch another show. That's how I ended up in Phoenix - totally unplanned. Worth every bit of everything!!!

it just occured to me why my fingers smell like billie joe. I haven't washed my hair since the show, so the smells of the club (and billie joe, who I was all over when he knelt down and I hugged him) are still on my hair and scalp. And I scratched my head, so that the smells were transfered to my fingers.

LAST NIGHT WAS AMAZINGGGGGGGG.
crowd surfed a few times.
kissed mike
kissed kevin twice[ cheek and mouthhhh biggrin.gif]
ruffled jason white and kevins hair
& billie joe grabed my arm because people where like attacking him, so i grabbed his hand and squeezed it, and he squeezed back, so then i kissed his hand, and he smiled REALLY big at me. it was amazing. and we held hands for about a minute until he got pulled away.

and i saw adrienne, didnt know it was her until i read that people said she had her hair in two knot things. i just saw the bakc of her a few times after the show. wish i would have recognised her, but oh well.

+ i got a set list from mr. jason freese.

so overall, it was wonderful.

but it did seem sorta empty compared to the phoenix show.
both shows were great in different ways.

First of all, I'm completely jealous. Second, I'm completely jealous.

Third, I'm regretting going home at 12:45, because if I had waited longer, I could have seen them and got autographs. But I had school in the morning, and people were depending on me.

Fourth, I'm regretting not buying an LP.

Fifth, from where I was in the front row, the show seemed pretty packed (if only because there were hundreds of people on my back biggrin.gif).

i was talking to pismo earlier and told her i should have taken southwest up on their offer to give a voucher, and extra $100 and a hotel to whoever would give up their seat and I shoulda went to CALIFORNIA that night and stayed for the last two shows. I coulda and I shoulda. Coming home to a cig and dope smoking daughter, a broken garage and the damn cleaning ladies that didnt clean and my car needing new brakes makes me want to get back out of reality. Quickly.

Awww, I'm SO sorry. That sucks, especially after the horrible travel day you had. Yeah, I want to get back to the lovely, steamy escapism of the hot tubs, too. The entire time they were performing - both shows - not another thought entered my head. I was so totally in the moment, I'm surprised I ever got out of it (and in a way, I haven't - I can close my eyes and be there again... HEAL ME, Rev, HEAL ME!!!).

that was the best show ive ever been to in my life, my mom was like 'ok, that was the best fucking show, ever.'

i got there at um...6:45am? got stuck in traffic D:

-Ron Jeremy was there, i think him and the singer of Girls With Guns hooked up
-i was talking with Mystic Knights of the Cobra, the drummer(mohawk) and they just got signed to Adeline Records yesterday(or two days ago)!!!

heres his story:

"We just got bored and made a bunch of STUPID STUPID songs out of boredom, and made some STUPID STUPID videos for them.
Then this guy wanted to meet me so i went whatever and he's just saying yeah yeah i work with green day blah blah we like you and i was just like whatever green day sure.
The next day, remember i just got back from college so im sleeping on my dads couch, and i get a knock on the door. I go to answer it, its Billie Joe, Tre Cool, Mike Dirnt, Jason White, and just fucking all of them!! (i dont remember if he said mr. freeze was there or not)
So i just said 'what'..as my legs were shaking
billie was like 'can we come in? theres something we have to talk about...'
so i let them in, and they're telling me 'AH MAN WE FUCKING LOVE YOU!! WE'RE FANS!!'
and later my dad gets home from work, looks around, and says 'i dont wanna deal with any of this shit right now' and goes to bed"

he said his dad got up later and did something but i forget sorry

then i was talking to the other guy from the band, the one with the sexy stomach in the purple feather suit thing for a long time afterwards...

he was begging us to come down to long beach, and that he'd put us on the gest list and all, i felt like shit for not being able to make it

they are the coolest people ever, he was also wearing my dice mardi gras bead necklace thing i gave to tre in return of him showing me his nipples. He said tre walked up to him and said 'your fucking great' and put it around his neck

-i met DJ Rossstar FINALLY
-while foxboro was playing, kevin(?) their guitarist accidenty hit me in the face with the guitar. theres a huge ass bruise on my forhead and cheek hahaha, it was great
-got interviewed by kerrang, picture ect...

alot more happened...i cant really remember right now, i might post more later

'that is a beard!'

I saw him in the parking lot as I drove past the roxy on my way home (parking lot was down the street, but my house is in the opposite direction, so I had to pass it).

How late did people have to stay in order to see Billie Joe, Tre, Mike, Jason x 2, and Kevin after the show?

I think I remember you from the line. You were a couple of people ahead of me I think.

If it is you, then you were the person who knew I was a member on here because you had seen me post something about my dad waiting in line for me.

Oh yeah i also remember that BJ and Mike were chanting a whole lot. First it was "El camino, el, el camino"
and then BJ stared saying "San Francisco, San, San Francisco" And went on to say "Oakland Raiders, Oak, Oakland Raiders."
Then Mike said, "LA Raiders, L, LA Raiders" And for some reason i laughed so hard at that. Maybe I was out of it, or maybe it was the fact that I was not even a foot away from him the whole time. I don't know but it was hilarious. Then Jason White goes "Go Giants!" and we all booed him :]

Just a random memory.

I almost forgot to mention that I got one of Mike's picks.

see:

I saw mike's happy trail and (hairy) chest. In addition to those sideburns of his, I'm surprised he's not called Wolverine by now.

and some girl had taken pictures up the leg of tre's shorts at the oakland show.

those I will not put up....but lets just say he's a briefs kind of guy.

I just got back. My friend and I got on stage during blood sex and booze and billie had us sing a couple "whoas" with him. Amazing experience. I got to meet Billie, Tre and Adrienne before the show. We spoke to Mike afterwards. I am an euphoric state right now. I was number 66 in line and that twelve hour wait, despite my completely sunburt arms, was well worth it. I will make a more in depth update after I get some sleep.

how did you get to meet them before the show?

Before the show as in before their performance, not before they started letting us in while in line.

I was near the entrance to the backstage area and during the second opening band (Cobras?) they both came out at different times for a couple minutes. They said a quick "Hi", shook hands and then a "See you later" when they turned around to head back.

I am so fucking jealous of all of you people that went yesterday. I was supposed to go, but my parents decided the day before that since there was alcohol, it was too "dangerous" down.gif

Someone was gonna take me, but no one was gonna pick me up.

I should've just taken the risk of being kidnapped. It would've been worth it biggrin.gif

Oh poor babes, thats terrible. I bet they are your fave people right now, and although kidnapping seemed a worthwhile risk, it might not have been much fun unless you were kidnapped by people that just wanted to take you to see FBHT.

EyesDon'tLie (may I call you EDL for short?), you are a lovely person. Every comment I see from you is so supportive and encouraging. I can only imagine how it must feel to be sitting in England reading about all the excitement others are having with FBHT in another country. And yet, you seem just as excited as those of us who get to attend the shows. It just brings tears to my eyes to see how sweet you are to everyone. I hope you have the most incredibly good karmic payback in a very short time!!! I'm wishing for you something so good that you could never even have imagined it for yourself!

Well, I hope you can get some sweet sleep soon, especially if you have to get to work early tomorrow. Now you should know this ... what essential oil is a good soporific? Maybe you should try using some to scent the air around your pillow...

Speaking of sleep, I'm about to go there myself. I have an early breakfast meeting tomorrow, and I don't want my eyes to look as red as my legs. BTW, the lavender oil was wonderful!!! Thanks so much for recommending it. I really think that's the reason why I wasn't afraid to walk normally this morning. I will have a bath instead of shower again tomorrow morning. The legs are SO much better today (even though they still look horrible, people are not offering to drive me to the emergency room).

Have a good night ... er, early morning.

The greatest adventure of my life began mon. the 26 of may, 2008, when my father and i battled memorial day traffic on a six and a half hour drive for the sunset strip. we arrived at about 7 to have dinner at a 60 year old 50's diner called Mell's drive in, and then headed over to the roxy a few min. down the street. we arrived to the venue empty and the line appearently for the taking outside of an all black, sleek looking building with two driveways being the only entrances to the back of the stage (we'll talk about this later). my phone died when i stood infront of a sign that said the foxboro hot tubs may 27 to take a picture, and then out of a car parked directly infront of the venue popped out a woman asking if i was there for the foxboro hot tubs. my heart sank, as i knew she had been in line before me, when she stated she had been in line since two with her thirteen year old daughter since 2 that afternoon. i let her go in front of me since i would have wanted the same, and later regretted it after finding she was the biggest winer and worry wort alive. at about midnight two other lads joined us in their twenties, one being from american idol a few seasons back. they loved their alcohol, but were cool and we jammed for hours to green day, foxboro hot tubs, and network tunes all night (with i being the most familiar with lyrics and guitar chords bwahaha). at around 11:30 pm the woman in front of my father and i asked us to save her spot so she and her daughter could go back to the room and sleep for a "couple hours" because she thought her daughter was "scared". we reluctantly agreed what felt like 30 degree weather, only to have her come back at about 7 am the next day...few hours my ass. about ten other people trickled in from about 1-8 am but the bulk didn't come till 9 or ten and kept growing with the day. i ran into my friend from the pinhead gunpowder concerts in west hollywood and 924 gilman named jerri, and later on my friends diana and matt. we all hung out and played uno, and in the afternoon watched for tourbusses and vans, hopeful they contained the members of the foxboro hot tubs. around 1 we started to get frustrated we hadn't seen a sign of the guys yet and cursed them for being lazy and rude lol. however at about 4 i think, diana, matt, and i spotted a golden tour bus and stood hopefully outside its door only for it to drive away min.s later with the guys probably laughing their asses off. we awaited patiently once more to spot a van we remembered from the pinhead concerts arrive an hour or two later. me and matt were the only ones left searching at this point, and we saw that blinker go on at one of the driveways where we ran to see who it was. it was then that we spotted mike, tre, billie joe, and their new guitarist come out and go into the building. jumping up and down we waited until seven for the roxy to open, where we would then wait till eight thirty for the FIRST OPENING act to start (we were in the front by the way). The lead singer of Girls with guns was so drunk i can't even judge on how good they were, but the rest of the band looked looked a bit stressed due to her intoxication..i saw a little more of her than i ever needed to. about and hour later the second band with a lot of talent from billie's home town came on, but i couldnt catch their name. at ELEVEN the boys finally lifted the curtain with billie joe looking mighty with his allligator scepter. he introduced him self as the reverand styrnine twitch and the band as the foxboro hot tubs with no guitar, only exhilerating dance moves and a voice that could rock the world. me and matt were closest to mike and got several splashes of beer, even down the pants, but it was alright because it was FUCKING MIKE DIRNT'S BEER. within the first song, stop drop and roll!!!, billie joe i think maybe recognized me and held my hand for at least a full min. while 20 hands swallowed him. He came over and sat in front of us singing several occations and stage dove probably 5 times. i danced with him on several songs along with many others and lost my ipod at some point, but didn't worry about it till then end..now its semi difunctional but I DONT CARE! lol. Mike stage dove once with billie joe taking over the bass, but he wasnt doing to great so he switched rolls with the other guitartist until mike returned. the guys finished up with little pieces of truth and bid the crowd goodbye, but HELL NO were we going to let them go without an encore. tre came out after a few min of cheering and demands with the red tide drum beat when a few min later the rest of the guys came to join him. they played a final goodbye tune that im not familiar with where 75 percent of the crowd came on stage to dance with them. it was an huge ending for a huge band..and i found my ipod later after hugging a girl i saw stepping on it, but the menu and select button now dont work haha. that was the best night of my life, and ill never regret it.
