I got to talk to Billie before the show. he is just the kindest, most down to earth and easy to talk to ROCK STAR that I know.
I saw Adie walk by shortly afterwards...she looked cute and had her hair twisted in two little knots on the top of her head.
I saw Jason Freese a bunch of times, driving about and eating dinner...{pardon my spelling) I Also spoke with the RINGMASTR of the Cobras. This show was toned down a LOT from the one in Solana, but still VERY much fun! Energetic crowd, and the the dude with the dreadlocks....you are a jerk.

I saw him too. I felt so bad for him when his car alarm was set off by a roadie, because clearly he was trying to avoid being spotted.

so I just got home and it was the best concerts I've ever been to in my entire life! And I will always remember it!!! The kid with the hat and coat I was next to him in line! He was in front of me! Haha

Anyways so the only thing I could think of saying is during the last song I some how made it up on stage! Billie asked everyone to come up and pretty much everyone did!!! And I held billie's hand!!!!!! It was amazing and after the song was done I just left I was tired and sweaty and I was pretty happy about getting on stage and holding billie's hand! LOL

There was so much energy from the guys! Diving into the crowd and playing random songs and chants!
I will post more when its daylight....or someone else who was there will have more details!
goodnight!

getting up on stage was the best. I got up there three times. The last time was for the last encore, and I stood next to Jason White, as well as with this girl with blue and pink hair. I was in a bright green shirt (for reference).

I grabbed Billie Joe's exposed love handle flesh at one point. Mike poured beer on us. That was the best experience of my life, by far.

Thats awesome, but from what I felt, he doesn't have any love handles. He is solid as a rock. woot.gif

Oh, is this what you just PM'd me about? Aw, I'm sorry I've upset you so much with my little joke.

EDIT: Now you've PM'd me again, and I've clarified it for you. Watch you don't slip if you're going to jump to conclusions so quickly.

For those wondering
-----------------

The band is warming up with Mother Mary right now.

"this is incredible. now playing pieces of truth. sounds amazing"

Their sound check did sound incredible, as I was in front of the side parking lot, so I could hear it well. Seriously though, it was like at 5:00, and it took 6 more hours until we got to see them perform. WTF?

Regardless, it was worth the wait.

Mary, yes, it was unforgettable although a grasp of his hand is nothing compared to some, wink, wink, hahaha!
And Geraldine, let me second that, what you said: dreadlock dude, you are such a douche

Bit of trivia I forgot to mention, when the 2nd band was playing, Billie was off to the side of the stage crawling on his hands and knees and holding a beer to give to one of the guys in the band, lol, thought that was cute.

My natural instinct is to tell you to go fuck yourself, but I think I'll explain instead.

I pointed out that the chick in the picture looked like Beth Ditto, and that the management should think about structural modifications to the floor. However, ***nobodylikesyou*** (presumable having the first name Beth) thought it was a joke at her expense, and sent me a PM calling me an asswipe. At that moment in time, I had no fucking idea what she was on about. She pointed out what I had said, and I cleared it up for her with a link to a Wikipedia article.

I can send you a transcript of the PMs if you'd like, o wise and venerable leader.

Okay, QUICK recap: (more later)
-got interviewed by Kerrang! magazine (and they took my pic) while standing in line
-got there at 2:30pm and waited until 10:00 pm for FBHT to FINALLY come out!!
-crowd was crazy and i was determined, so i made me way to the front of the stage and got pulled on stage by Mr. Billie Joe Armstrong!!!!
-while on stage the first time i jumped around like an idiot and sang part of Shes a saint not a celebrity with Mr. Jason White!!! Dude!!!!!!
-and after i got kicked off i got back on the floor with the crowd and pushed my way back to the front where Mike and Billie continuously poured beer on the crowd and i got soaked. biggrin.gif
- and of course Billie stage dived a whole lot, right on top of me, so i ruffled his hair a thousand times, grabbed his necklaces, and just grabbed him a lot!
-then during a quick one while hes away, their last song, billie pulled like 20 people up on stage and i needed to get back up there so i was at the front and there was this big guy on the stage, so i stuck out my hand and looked at him, and he saw me a pulled me up! so i jumped around some more with the crowd on the stage :]
-and at the end when they were kicking people off the stage, tre cool finally got up and he walked right by me, rubbed me when he walked by, and i patted his back and kept yelling, its tre! tre cool! I was so out of it.

- so ALTOGETHER, i got interviewed by a magazine company in the UK, i got pulled on stage by billie, sang with jason and hugged Bj a whole bunch and danced around with him, when i got back down and back to the front mike handed me the microphone and i just yelled woo! and he said no! does somebody know? and handed it to someone else. (i had no idea what he wanted me to say) and i patted tre cool on the back, touched mikes bass 6-7 times and shook his finger right before i left :] , smiled at the new guitar player and he waved back, and looked at Jason White a million times and we sang at eachother and it was amazing. and i also saw DJ Rosstar a bunch of times.

AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH best night ever. Ever.

SO glad you had such an amazing time! Quite a few of us know how you feel. Reading this brought a big grin to my face and joy to my heart.

Aren't they just wonderful people? Nobody else like them as far as I know. They still have their humility (not when on stage, thank goodness!).

I agree, but I know what musicaldeviant means. In my recap, I said I petted the side of his hip or something like that. When I wrote it, I was thinking that's where his love handle would be if he had them. Felt so sweet!!!

Omg it was an amazing show all around...
ok the first band girls with guns, i thought that was funny she was drunk as hell...corbas were awesome
and when fbht finally came on, it went insane. everyone was covered in beer, sweat, other liquids within like 10 minutes...billie was everywhere, jumping in the crowd, having people get on stage, kissing people, singing with people, and lots if drinking
it was just amazing!

i got there at like 4? or 5? and the wait wasnt as bad as i thought...the worse was standing inside waiting for the bands to come on..i donno about anyone else... i had barely any room to move, and my back was killing me! but it was fine once the show started

I meant that to mean that part of his body, only because I'm not quite sure what that part of the body is called (lower side abdomen?)

I agree. Solid as a rock.
Plus, his crotch was like 5 inches from my face for like 2 minutes. biggrin.gif

Okay, so after the night of our lives in Dallas, my mom, my sis and I knew that we absolutely HAD to make it to another show. We just didn't know how! After four horrible days at my house with us all deppressed, we finally got the money to get down there! (since my dad who is jealous of Billie refused to fund our trip) Anyway, we got the money about 3 hours before the bus supposed to leave and made the 27 hour trip down to LA. The ride was miserable! Then we took a LONG city bus ride to Hollywood where we arrived around 9. When we got there, there were already 130 people in line! (going by my wristband number 131) So we knew we wouldn't be in the front, but at least we were there! We met some cool people in line who let us use their phone to call someone for a ride home that night since at that point we had no clue how we were going to leave the club, much less how we were going to get back to Texas (we're still here as we speak and still don't know!) Seriously, if he hadn't of let us call we might have been stuck on sunset all night!! Anyway, Kerrang magazine interviewed us about our trip and took a lot of pictures of us which was really cool! I would post up a review but the whole thing was just an unbeleivable blur of a good time. I ended up front row because I was behind some kids to start with. I don't blame them for leaving though, my legs DIED! The whole time people were getting up on stage. He grabbed my hand again! And I got to kiss his head! When he sang 'pieces of truth' I got on stage and got to dance with him and sang with him into his microphone until a guard pulled me off. Billie remembered my sister from Dallas and danced with her again, then defended her against a guard and tried to give her all his necklaces but he pulled them too hard and they all broke. Then he gave her the beads! haha.. We found Kevin who was really suprised to see us there and talked to him for a long time. He told us we were crazy but awesome for comming. He introduced us to his parents and grandparents who were REALLY nice! They thanked us a lot of times for comming! He told us to wait after the show and not to leave but the guards didn't believe us and kicked everyone out of the venue. Ron Jermey was there and told my sister he saw her on stage and she was cute. hah. Then we saw Adrienne who we didn't take pictures with because she was looking for her friends. Anyway, we'll have to come up with a way to get home now that we're stuck here, but after all the problems, bruises and troubles we went through, it was COMPLETELY worth it! And I'd do it all over again in a second!

Anyway, we'll have to come up with a way to get home now that we're stuck here, but after all the problems, bruises and troubles we went through, it was COMPLETELY worth it! And I'd do it all over again in a second!

Nice to know you had a nice time,I hope you get home ok.

Totally agree. Both him and his douchy blond friend with glasses.

yeah that guy with the glasses was an ass, he got a kiss from Billie Joe and flipped out, holy shit, what'a dumb ass, I was right behind him.......... I was the big tall guy with black t-shirt, got to get on stage at one time, it was a blast,....... best show ever! I was in line since 1pm..... it was well worth the wait. The first 2 bands were alright,... nothing special, oh well smile.gif

My dad lined up for me at 7:30am while I took a test (got there around 9:15, and traded places with him so he could go to work). I know the person who was third in line got there at 7pm the previous night. I got on stage 3 times, the last being the end of the encore. I was standing next to Jason White, in a green shirt with a girl that had blue and pink hair.

Were you wearing a yellow top? Blond? Because if you were, I was two people to the left from you. I had a green shirt on, and was tightly wedged in that little scrunched pocket of people with you.

I remember you mentioned being from Texas. And you got in the front, so your wristband number really didn't affect you chances of being up there.

By the way everyone, my hand smells like Billie Joe. I took a shower, and it still smells like billie joe (not that its a bad thing). How weird. And yet, fantastic. Actually, I think its my deodorant, which smells just like him. Does billie joe use the same deodorant? He might. Holy fuck, same deodorant!

I'm surprised how he didn't really smell like B.O.. And I'm surprised Tre was rather quiet and docile, which I always associated Mike to be. But he wasn't.

My clothes still smell like the beer he spat on the 10 people around me.
