I was thinking the same thing myself!
I ran across this picture/brief article http://laist.com/2008/05/27/foxboro_hot_tub.php about the folks in line at the Roxy today, while I was looking for an updated video from a San Diego newscast last night. And here's a link to the Roxy's Flickr page which has several pics of folks in line for the show. http://www.flickr.com/photos/theroxyblog/ (Btw, I posted some newscast/article/video links about last night's Belly Up Tavern show in two separate messages over on the San Diego thread on page 3 if you're interested.)
How disappointing it was to read a few messages up in this LA thread about so many tickets going to 'industry folks'! Yes, it's LA, but isn't FHT's whole ticket policy, day-of, $20 cash, meant to keep the shows available and geared toward the die-hard fan and not those who can pay scalper prices or "know someone who knows someone"?!?! Saving so many tickets for industry folks, when others are giving up many hours (and goodness knows what else) to make sure they get their golden opportunity to see the band, seems totally wrong.
